A cannabis-infused drink introduced in Uruguay

Yerba mate is a plant grown in South America. Its leaves are used to make one of the region’s signature drinks.

Some in Uruguay have added another plant to the popular brew…cannabis. Back in 2013, Uruguay became the world’s first country to legalize cannabis.
